Job Description:

Mode Search is partnering with a prestigious luxury fragrance brand to find an exceptional Store Manager for their boutique within a department store, Paris. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-profile store, representing a brand renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, refined scents, and commitment to excellence.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, team leadership, and delivering an outstanding luxury client experience. You will drive commercial success while maintaining the highest standards of service and brand representation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and uphold company policies, operational standards, and procedures, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Take ownership of health & safety, loss prevention, and risk management within the boutique.
  • Ensure the team is fully trained in POS systems, cash handling, and stock management to minimize loss.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor top talent, working closely with HR to create succession plans.
  • Inspire and empower your team to drive sales and deliver an elevated client experience.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in clienteling, ensuring long-term customer relationships and retention.
  • Act as a brand ambassador within the local market, strengthening visibility and customer engagement.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to maintain a strategic advantage.
  • Lead by example, cultivating a positive work environment that fosters motivation, innovation, and enthusiasm.
  • Deliver and exceed sales targets through effective leadership, coaching, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a department store environment is needed
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the retail industry
  • At least 4 years in a supervisory or management position
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in both English and French (additional languages are a plus)
  • Strong interest in the beauty or luxury retail sector
