The Opportunity

Worldline is a global leader in the fintech market, with over three decades of experience. We are shaping the future of payments and looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure our services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale with high availability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to build and maintain infrastructure and tooling that underpin our platform's reliability, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Develop shared services to enhance Worldline’s velocity and innovation.
2. Integrate community products into our ecosystem.
3. Create tooling using scripting or programming languages.
4. Collaborate and share knowledge within the team.
5. Support business lines in migrating solutions to our infrastructure with automation and CI/CD.
6. Manage and innovate shared services and tooling for availability, scalability, and efficiency.
7. Build reliable, resilient production systems in a cross-functional environment.
8. Enhance automation stacks and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Document technical and user procedures.
10. Perform daily operational tasks including change management, monitoring, and deployment.
11. Ensure security of services, considering security from the outset.

What We Are Looking For

• Academic or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of Linux experience in high-availability environments.
• Self-motivated and autonomous.
• Development and programming skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Quick learner with the ability to handle complex automation stacks independently.
• Passionate about automation, open source, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Targeting zero support solutions and self-healing systems.
• Security-conscious mindset.
• Ability to balance stability and agility, operational and software engineering work.
• Must have: Extensive knowledge of storage products (HPE, HDS, NetApp, PureStorage), block/file storage, SAN/FC, SAN/IP, version control (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket), Puppet, Terraform, scripting languages (bash, python, ruby), network protocols, programming languages (Java, GoLang, Perl), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), multi-DC setups, hybrid infrastructure, security standards (PCI-DSS), excellent communication skills in English, problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: Experience with micro-frontend service discovery, previous SRE roles, cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure), knowledge of cloud security and compliance.
