WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Stock Manager will join our team reporting to the Store Manager. The Stock Manager coordinates all the operating activities for the Store according to the HQ and Capri Holding guidelines.

The Stock Manager ensures Retail Excellence across the operational aspects of the Business, improving the working environment and business processes of the store and provides training, feedback and team development aiming to ensure client satisfaction and supporting growth in revenues.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Regularly communicate with the Store Manager and Retail Operations Manager about the general conditions of the Store and actions implemented
  • Manage the operational aspects of the Store, including monthly cycle counts, mid and full year inventory, follow up of the operational routines and monitor of Store-to-Store transfers ensuring accuracy and maintaining high quality of execution
  • Work alongside with the Store Manager to ensure stock and monetary shrinkage is kept to a minimum and within target
  • Plan and manage inventory calendars, both half year and annual
  • Analyze, launch, monitor and update the commercial and administrative procedures and provide the Store with follow up and training in collaboration with the Internal Audit
  • Manage stocks and optimise the organisation of the back office
  • Maximize warehouse receiving and product shelving; anticipate storage needs before parts are received

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in improving reporting, information flow, business processes and organizational planning
  • Comply with all company fire, health, and safety regulations
  • Coordinate the Stock Controllers on operational tasks, ensuring an adequate productivity in compliance with the Company’s procedures
  • Provide leadership, coaching and process improvement initiatives necessary to improve the operational efficiency of the Stock Controller teams
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a cost-effective way

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Comply with Corporate and regulatory procedures (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud Prevention, etc.) by implementing and monitoring operational processes
  • Train the team on the Retail Operating systems and regularly follow up on the accuracy of usage

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in a managerial stock position, preferably in the retail environment
  • Highly organized, rigorous and reliable, proactive and able to organize the work of the team and to anticipate needs
  • Proficient with Excel / IT tools
