Qualifications

Keyrus Life Science is looking on a regular basis for Statistical Programmer Consultants to join our consulting team for projects based in Belgium for clients ranging from big pharma to small biotech.

This job description is an example of how your job could look. Once we have a specific project and client, you will be informed and will have the choice to be presented at our client.

Your potential challenges could include:

  • Providing statistical consultancy for small and large molecules, related to method robustness, process comparability, validation, specification determination, process optimization, and control. Responsibilities include designing experiments, analyzing data, and preparing reports or presentations for internal or external clients, including Regulatory Authorities.
  • Automating repetitive tasks, including statistical analysis automation and report generation using Rmarkdown and RShiny.
  • Familiarity with fixed and mixed effects ANOVA models, variance component analysis, regression, multivariate analysis, Bayesian and non-parametric statistics, statistical process control, and experimental designs. Proficiency with JMP, R, and SAS (base, stat) is expected; knowledge of other statistical packages is an asset.
  • Developing and delivering training packages for end users.
  • Having a customer-oriented approach and willingness to develop a broad understanding of related areas such as bioassays, analytical chemistry, process chemistry, and packaging. Capable of handling diverse issues simultaneously.
Profile:
  • Master's degree in statistics (or Mathematics), PhD in statistics is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of multivariate analysis (regression, PCA, PLS), multivariate statistical process control, and experimental designs.
  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with R, RShiny, R Markdown, GITHub, JMP, and SAS (base, stat). Knowledge of other statistical packages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Functional programming skills are an asset.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a statistician in pharmaceutical product development.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Fluent English required; French is a plus.
  • Good communication and teaching skills.
