IXO is seeking a hands-on professional with Stata SE experience for a paid remote application-specialist engagement. The role involves statistical work on survey or panel data in biostatistics, epidemiology, health and development economics, and social sciences.

The exact tasks and outputs will be defined in the project brief before you accept work. You must have Stata SE installed on a Windows PC with a valid license, and you will work remotely with no required in-person visits.

IXO is inviting professionals with hands‑on Stata SE experience to a paid remote application‑specialist engagement. Relevant practice includes statistical work with survey or panel data in biostatistics, epidemiology, health and development economics, and the social sciences. The application‑specific project brief will define the actual tasks, source materials and expected outputs before you accept work. This listing establishes the experience and technical setup required; it does not specify a particular analysis, annotation or recording assignment. IXO and the practitioner will agree that work package before it begins.

Required application access

You must have the Stata SE edition installed and ready to use on your own Windows PC, with legitimate licensed access. The program needs to be available to open immediately. Familiarity with another statistical package does not substitute for this application requirement. Use your existing setup: software licenses, virtual machines and hardware are not supplied.

Display and capture setup

You must be able to produce screenshots with more than 2.5 million pixels. A single high‑resolution display is sufficient when its captured image exceeds that threshold. Examples include 2048 × 1536, 2560 × 1440, 2560 × 1600 and 3840 × 2160. Alternatively, use two monitors side by side and capture them together as one spanning image. Two displays at 1920 × 1080 or higher satisfy the requirement in that combined format. Capturing only one 1080p display does not. The actual screenshot dimensions determine whether the threshold is met; the Windows application requirement still applies independently of the display configuration.

Compensation and scope

Compensation is $50 $60/hr USD. Forty hours per week is an indicative planning assumption, not a guaranteed allocation. IXO will confirm hours, timing, tasks and output requirements before acceptance. Additional projects require separate agreement. Only authorized project data may be shared. Exclude confidential employer material, client information, restricted research datasets and personal information from screenshots or other submitted material.
