IXO is seeking practitioners who use EViews professionally for a paid remote application-specialist opportunity. Relevant work includes time-series modeling, economic forecasting and econometric analysis in macroeconomics, financial analysis, central banking or policy research.

This opportunity requires practical familiarity with the application. The particular project tasks, inputs and expected outputs will be explained and agreed with IXO before you accept an assignment. A detailed task specification is not included in this listing, so applicants should not assume that a particular modeling, annotation or recording workflow is required.

Software and access requirements

You must already have EViews installed and usable on your own Windows PC, with valid software access. You need to be able to open the application now. The engagement requires your existing licensed setup; software licenses, virtual machines and computer hardware are not supplied.

Screenshot capability

Your setup must produce a screenshot containing more than 2.5 million pixels. Either a single sufficiently high-resolution display or a combined capture spanning two displays can meet the requirement.

Examples of qualifying single-display resolutions include 2048 × 1536, 2560 × 1440, 2560 × 1600 and 3840 × 2160. Two side-by-side displays at 1920 × 1080 or higher also qualify when captured together in one image. A capture of only one 1920 × 1080 screen does not qualify. Check the dimensions of the resulting image, not just the display's marketed size. The application must run on Windows even if a display can otherwise meet the resolution threshold.

Engagement terms

Compensation is $50 $60/hr USD.

A 40-hour week is an indicative planning figure only; actual hours, duration, tasks and acceptance criteria must be agreed with IXO before work. There is no commitment to further assignments.
