Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Paris is seeking a Building Consultancy team member. The intern will support multiple departments by preparing reports, inspecting buildings, and assisting with dilapidations and cost assessments.

You will coordinate portfolio instructions, travel as needed, and contribute to delivering professional client service while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong written and numerical skills, plus report writing ability.
• Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.

Job Summary

Join our Building Consultancy department in Paris. The team deals with a range of investor clients, including GoldmanSachs, LaSalle, M&G Real Estate, INVESCO, AEW, RedTree Capital and BNP Real Estate, corporate occupier clients such as Google, Huawei and Cisco. The internwill work alongside other internal departments such as Investment, Agency, Managed Services, Valuations, Lease Advisory, Project Management teams, to provide holistic, commercial advice to our clients.

The role is based in Paris.

What this job involves

• Undertaking Building Consultant's inspections and preparing reports
• Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations/preparing exit strategies
• Undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments
• Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
• Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and offering a professional and excellent client service at all times
• Some travel will be required in this role

• Must have strong verbal and numerical skills, and be comfortable with report writing
• Requires excellent time management and general organisational skills
• Is required to be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure
• Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills
• Experience of AutoCAD an advantage
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Clean and valid driving licence
• Bilingual in both written and spoken (English & French)
