Job Description:

Radiance Energy, a major player in the European photovoltaic market since 2006, has recently positioned itself as a full-fledged Independent Power Producer (IPP). Our activities encompass planning, financing, construction, and operational management of large-scale photovoltaic projects, both utility-scale and C&I segments.

We are seeking a Legal Intern specializing in Land and Property Law to support our operational departments in land control for solar projects. The intern will collaborate closely with external service providers such as law firms, notaries, surveyors, and local authorities. This position reports to the Legal Director, ensuring structured supervision and strategic legal oversight related to renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in ensuring the legality of deeds drafted by notaries
2. Providing legal advice in public law (urban planning, environment, energy) and private law to operational teams
3. Monitoring legal appeals and disputes related to urban planning permits in collaboration with our legal partners
4. Conducting legal watch in private law, urban planning, environmental law, and renewable energy law
5. Participating in legal team meetings with other company departments

Qualifications:

• Legal educational background with a Master II (or in progress) in Public Law, Environmental Law, Energy Law, Urban Planning, or Construction Law; student lawyer status (PPI internship) is a plus
• Essential knowledge in urban planning law, emphyteotic and construction lease law, environmental law
• Team spirit, project management skills, excellent writing skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in French; knowledge of other European languages such as English or Portuguese is advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously, creative, adaptable to a constantly evolving sector
