NXP Semiconductors, basé à Caen, recherche un stagiaire de fin d’études pour 6 mois au sein de l’équipe NFC Software. Vous contribuerez au développement du firmware et du middleware des composants NFC et participerez à la validation et à l’automatisation des tests.

Vous travaillerez sur la plateforme de simulation, étendrez le support matériel et aurez l’opportunité d’explorer des méthodes de validation avancées, potentiellement avec de l’IA, dans un contexte international.

Qualifications

• Maîtrise des langages C, Python et C#.
• Bon niveau d’anglais et capacité à évoluer dans un contexte international.
• Formation de niveau Bac+5 en informatique/ingénierie.

Responsabilités

• Analyser les besoins et proposer des solutions techniques.
• Évoluer la plateforme de simulation pour un nouveau produit embarqué.
• Étendre le support pour de nouveaux périphériques hardware.
• Mettre en place des méthodes de validation et du debugging (potentiellement IA).
• Automatiser les bancs de test et les intégrer à Jenkins.

Contexte

L’équipe « NFC Software», basée à Caen, a pour responsabilité de fournir les logiciels (firmware et middleware) nécessaires au fonctionnement des composants NFC conçus par NXP. Ces composants, qui équipent une majorité des téléphones mobiles et objets connectés et leur permettent de communiquer (transactions bancaires, gestion d’accès, échange de données sécurisés), sont diffusés à très grande échelle. Afin de répondre efficacement à ces besoins, des outils de validation sont développés en interne. Nous recherchons dans ce domaine un ou une stagiaire de fin d’étude pour une durée de 6 mois.

Context

The NFC Software team, based in Caen, is responsible for delivering the software components (firmware and middleware) required for the operation of NXP’s NFC solutions. These components, which are integrated into a large majority of mobile phones and connected devices, enable secure communication for applications such as payment transactions, access management, and secure data exchange. They are deployed on a very large scale worldwide. To efficiently support these needs, validation tools are developed internally. Within this context, we are looking for a final-year intern for a 6‑month internship.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse des besoins, proposition de solutions techniques

• Mise en place de méthodes de validation et debug additionnelles, pouvant inclure de l’IA
• Automatisation du bancs de test et couplage à une plateforme de test automatique (Jenkins)
• Analyzing requirements and proposing technical solutions
• Enhancing the simulation platform to support a new product (embedded software)
• Extending support for new hardware peripherals
• Implementing additional validation and debugging methods, potentially including AI‑based approaches
• Automating test benches and integrating them with an automated testing platform (Jenkins)

Your Profile

• Niveau d’étude Bac +5, dernière année d’Ecole d’Ingénieur ou Master 2, en spécialité Informatique Industrielle ou Informatique
• Education: Final year of an Engineering School (Master’s level) or Master’s Degree (MSc), specializing in Industrial Computing, Computer Science, or a related field
• Développement logicielle (architectures logicielles et matérielles, C, python, C#, méthodes de validation)
• Software development knowledge, including software and hardware architectures, C, Python, C#, and validation methodologies
• Bon niveau d’anglais, capacité d’évolution dans un contexte international
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work in an international environment
• Une forte passion pour le développement logiciel et la capacité d’appréhender rapidement de nouveaux sujets techniques sont des points clés pour la réussite de ce stage.
