Job Summary:

This position will act as the key individual for executing data center lease and sale transactions in their region for a growing global data center company. They will oversee activities relating to management of an existing portfolio of office and data center properties and site acquisitions related to new development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Planning and Capex Forecasting
  2. Provides direction for valuation analyses
  3. Leads analysis for various land acquisition projects and lease negotiations
  4. Identifies research needs on real estate and data center market in various metros
  5. Responsible for the inventory roadmap of each metro
  6. Provides input into the real estate strategy for each metro and supports capex forecast on planned developments
  7. Leads asset acquisitions
  8. Responsible for identifying and managing multiple site searches, ranging in scale from small offices to large data center buildings and greenfield sites
  9. Oversees program delivery of multiple related projects required for a specific business functional strategy
  10. Oversees land and power permitting approvals with local authorities to support development of data centers
  11. Asset Review
  12. Aids in development of asset management strategies including expansion, contraction, disposition and reconfiguration of properties
  13. Lease Management
  14. Oversees new lease abstracting, quarterly reporting of real estate activity with Finance and compliance with REIT requirements
  15. Project and Program Management
  16. Will mentor junior project/program team members in project management
  17. Stakeholder Management
  18. Manages real estate transaction reviews with internal and external legal counsel
  19. Proactively interfaces with internal operations colleagues to identify real estate needs
  20. Manages real estate related cross-functional projects with internal and external colleagues
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting required

7+ years of experience at a national brokerage firm, investment bank or real estate investment firm preferred (experience within data center environment a plus)
