Voodoo is seeking a Staff Unity Engineer to join the Engineering & Data team, focused on the SDK that powers hundreds of studios and developers. You will design, implement, and optimize Unity SDKs, collaborating with game teams to meet performance and compatibility goals, and contribute to documentation and best practices.

The role emphasizes building scalable tools, code reviews, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of game development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Unity and C#.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architecture.
• Excellent written and spoken English; effective cross-team communication.
• Experience with performance profiling, debugging, and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain Unity SDKs for integration with the engine.
• Collaborate with game developers to understand needs and optimize SDK performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across platforms and Unity versions.
• Ensure SDK compatibility across different Unity versions and platforms.
• Create clear documentation and sample implementations for SDK users.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions for scalable tooling.
