Arm is redefining what is possible in cloud and data center computing. We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team within the CE-SW group to lead system-level validation and drive quality for our infrastructure platforms.

This hands-on role focuses on validation strategy, automation, and delivering high-quality pre-silicon and silicon solutions. As the team grows, there may be opportunities to evolve toward team leadership.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills across software, firmware and hardware.

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Solutions Software team in our CE-SW group. This is currently a hands-on technical contributor role, with no line management responsibilities, focused on driving system-level validation and quality for our infrastructure platforms. You will provide technical leadership in validation, develop effective test strategies and automation, and help ensure high-quality delivery across pre-silicon and silicon environments.

As the team grows, there may be opportunities for the role to evolve to include team leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Provide technical leadership in system-level validation, test methodology and automation.
• Develop test automation and infrastructure, improving tools, frameworks, CI and regression capabilities.
• Drive system-level validation and defect resolution across pre-silicon and silicon environments.
• Collaborate across software, firmware and hardware teams to resolve issues and support product readiness.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Strong experience in software testing and system-level validation for SoC, firmware, platform software or embedded systems.
• Proven technical leadership, with the ability to guide engineering decisions and influence across teams.
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, automation, CI and regression testing.
• Experience using test coverage, quality metrics and defect management to drive quality.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :

• Knowledge of server-class SoCs, including RAS, power management, PCI Express (PCIe), Compute Express Link (CXL), memory and virtualization.
• Familiarity with the Linux kernel, Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), UEFI EDK II, OpenBMC or Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM).
• Experience with automated system validation, hardware test environments, server farms or continuous integration infrastructure

Salary Range:

€78,500 - €106,300 per year
