Job summary

Trustpair, a security-focused fintech, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the fraud-detection engine’s evolution. You’ll architect for scale, lead cross-functional efforts, and push LLM-based insights into evaluation workflows.

You’ll mentor engineers, improve observability and performance, and collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to shape the technical roadmap. This hybrid/remote Paris-area role offers significant ownership in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and architectures.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong background in building scalable web services and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own the technical vision for large-scale, distributed systems, focusing on the fraud-detection engine.
• Lead complex, cross-functional technical projects from conception to completion, aligned with product strategy.
• Shape the technical roadmap with Product and Engineering leadership; identify challenges and propose solutions.
• Drive innovation by applying LLM-based insights to business problems and improving system capabilities.
• Mentor engineers within the squad and across the org, promoting best practices in software architecture and design.
• Ensure observability, scalability, and performance of core systems, enabling reliability and efficiency.
