Datadog is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of Linux instrumentation and runtime security technologies. You will influence product direction, tackle challenging kernel‑level work, and scale security capabilities across workloads and cloud workloads.

You will work in a hybrid Datadog environment focused on performance, reliability, and collaboration across multiple teams to deliver end‑to‑end platform features for security products.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building software in Linux environments, including Linux internals or kernel APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with eBPF, kernel instrumentation, or driver development.
• Proven ability to build production software with strong performance and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture and development of security agent capabilities for runtime threat detection and workload protection.
• Design and build reusable eBPF‑based monitoring for process, file, and network visibility on Linux.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery from strategy through testing and rollout.
