AeroVect is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of our localization and mapping stack, crucial for autonomous operations at major airports. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in robotics, specifically in localization and state estimation.

This role involves taking ownership of specialized areas, contributing to performance tuning, and collaborating with senior engineers to enhance our technologies. Candidates should have strong C++ skills and a background in multi-sensor fusion with demonstrable leadership in technical projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in robotics or autonomous vehicles with localization or state-estimation systems experience.
• Deep practical grounding in multi-sensor fusion and state estimation.
• Strong command of non-linear optimization techniques.

Responsabilités

• Own core areas of the localization stack and drive to production reliability.
• Contribute to the localization and mapping pipeline.
• Help design and build online validation for localization integrity.
