AeroVect in Paris, France, is seeking a Senior SW Safety Engineer to lead core safety lifecycle tasks across software and hardware platforms for autonomous ground operations.

You will perform hazard analyses per ISO 26262 and SOTIF, derive safety requirements, review C++/Python code, and collaborate with systems, software, robotics, and hardware teams to ensure robust safety. The role reports to the Head of Safety and offers a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in autonomous vehicle safety engineering or related field.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and/or DO-178C/DO-254 is required.
• Background in hazard analysis like HARA, FMEA, FTA, and STPA.

Responsabilités

• Perform hazard identification and risk assessments for autonomous software.
• Derive and verify SSRs and safety requirements across platforms.
• Collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and test teams to verify safety.
• Develop safety case artifacts and verification evidence for deployment.
