The ‘Zendesk Analytics Prototyping’ (ZAP) team is seeking an experienced Staff Data Engineer to support CRM measurements, insights, and promote a data-centric approach to customer support tools and operations. The role involves building and maintaining robust datasets and developing insights to improve Zendesk’s support operations.
The candidate will collaborate with Software Development Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers to develop high-quality data pipelines and manage the team’s data lake. The work includes developing curated datasets, applying architectural and data modeling best practices, primarily focusing on Data Warehouse solutions in Snowflake using technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and Terraform.
