Job summary

Trustpair, a security-focused fintech, seeks a Staff Software Engineer for the Core Evaluation team in Paris. You will act as the technical authority for the fraud detection engine, shaping its architecture and scalability to meet growing demand.

You will lead cross-functional projects and drive the integration of LLM-based insights to enhance evaluation workflows, collaborating with engineering, product, and management.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience in high-throughput environments and async workflows.
• 2–3+ years in Ruby on Rails.
• Proven architect for large-scale systems.
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• DevOps mindset; Kubernetes scaling and tuning.
• Strong collaboration in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the technical vision for large-scale distributed systems.
• Lead cross-functional technical projects from conception to completion.
• Shape and refine the technical roadmap with product and engineering leadership.
• Champion innovation with LLM-based solutions to improve evaluation workflows.
• Mentor engineers within your squad and across teams.
• Ensure observability, scalability, and performance of core systems.
