Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced Staff AI Engineer to help build the engineering foundations behind our next generation of AI-powered products. You will join Autonomy Labs to work with model-training teams, researchers, data engineers, and product engineers to develop agents for real supply chain and retail workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years software engineering or equivalent depth.
• Strong Python and backend engineering with API design and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered apps and AI agents.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, traces, and nondeterministic systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers and model-training engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build robust software systems for AI agents.
• Develop services to collect and process agent traces, tool calls, and outcomes.
• Build systems for evaluating model behavior at scale.
• Create feedback loops between production systems and training teams.
• Build training and evaluation environments representing realistic workflows.
• Implement integrations with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Design for reproducibility across models and versions.
• Coordinate with model-training teams to integrate new models and feedback.
• Improve reliability via observability, testing, failure recovery, and safe rollouts.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews across teams.
