Believe is seeking a Staff AI Engineer in Core Engineering to design and build scalable systems behind intelligent automation and large-scale retrieval. You’ll work across enterprise teams to turn AI concepts into reliable services, with a focus on production-grade code, security, observability and cost-aware design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with cross-team influence (Staff/Principal level)
• Recent experience taking LLM-based systems into production, not just prototypes
• Strong fundamentals: coding, API design, concurrency, data modelling, testing, CI/CD, containerised deployment

Responsabilités

• Build and evolve enterprise agentic framework for orchestration, retrieval and collaboration across agents
• Write production-grade, well-structured code for production services and internal tooling
• Ensure AI systems are measurable, trustworthy, and observable with telemetry on latency and costs
• Set security standards and collaborate with platform, architecture and security teams
• Mentor others, lead design discussions and drive engineering excellence
• Define and drive architectural guidelines to support multi-team, autonomous development
