A globally recognised investment bank is looking for a seasoned SSA Trader to join its Paris-based Fixed Income trading desk at the VP level. This role involves managing risk across SSA products, building client relationships, and staying updated on market trends and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive trading experience, especially with EUR and USD instruments, and possess excellent pricing skills while speaking English fluently, with French or German as a plus.

A globally recognised investment bank is seeking an experienced SSA Trader to join its Paris-based Fixed Income trading desk. This is a strategic VP level hire, targeting a driven individual with a strong understanding of EUR and USD-denominated SSA markets and proven experience trading KfW bonds or similar high-grade issuers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage risk across EUR and USD-denominated SSA products
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including central banks, asset managers, and bank treasuries
• Provide liquidity and pricing across KfW and other core SSA issuers
• Collaborate closely with sales, research, and syndicate teams to support primary and secondary market activity
• Monitor market developments, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory impacts relevant to SSA markets

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of SSA trading experience, with direct exposure to EUR and USD books
• Demonstrated coverage and knowledge of KfW or similar benchmark issuers
• Strong understanding of global fixed income markets and regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, Basel III, etc.)
• Proactive, risk-aware mindset with strong pricing and execution skills
• Fluency in English; French or German language skills a plus
