VeepeeTech, the SRE arm of Veepee, seeks a reliable SRE to ensure scalable systems across on-prem and cloud components. You will join an agile product team, applying DevOps practices to deliver regular releases and maintain operational excellence.

Role requires Linux mastery, IaC and Kubernetes skills, plus strong English; remote flexibility up to 2 days weekly, with dynamic international teams and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar function.
• Experience with high-availability production environments and on-call.
• Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Linux.
• Proficiency with IaC: Packer, Terraform, Ansible.
• SUP: Alerta, ELK, Prometheus, K8S Operators.
• Hands on with Docker, Kubernetes On Premise (Kubernetes the hard way).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, ElasticSearch.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
• CI/CD: Gitlab, ArgoCD.
• Others: Consul, Vault.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and develop our k8s Cloud Solution.
• Implement tools and processes for deployment and industrialization (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback).
• Automate provisioning of resilient infrastructure.
• Work with development teams to facilitate regular releases.
• Maintain services in operational condition, analyze performance and scalability anomalies.
• Supervise the application portfolio with NOC, manage access and security.
• Participate in IS evolution and reduce tech debt.
• Be the evangelist of DevOps best practices within Veepee.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Being an SRE in VeepeeTech means to be a part of the transversal SRE community and at the same time integrate one of the agile product teams. You will ensure the system’s reliability and scalability by applying DevOps practices and share knowledge within the SRE community, you will be part of the Foundation Domain which is responsible for on premise infrastructure

TASKS

• Maintain and develop our k8s Cloud Solution

• Implementing tools and processes for deployment and industrialization (CI/CD, blue/green, canary, rollback, etc.);

• Automating provisioning of a resilient infrastructure that meets the needs of products;

• Working with development teams to facilitate regular releases;

• Maintaining services in operational conditions, analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies (load tests) of current and historical deployments;

• Supervising the application portfolio in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (NOC), manage access and security;

• Participating in the evolution of the IS and the reduction of the technical debt;

• Being the evangelist of DevOps’ good practices and participating in the construction of a true transversal SRE community within Veepee.

MUST HAVE skills

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar function;

• Experience with high-availability production environments & on-call

• Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow and DevOps practices in general and understanding of a system side;

• Familiar with Linux (good knowledge);

• Proficiency with IaC: Packer, Terraform, Ansible;

• SUP: Alerta, ELK, Prometheus, K8S Operators;

• Hands on with Docker, Kubernetes On Premise ( Kubernetes the hard way)

• Proficiency with different types of DB such as, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, ElasticSearch;

• You have strong verbal and written English language skills.

• CI/CD : Gitlab, ArgoCD

• Others : Consul, Vault

NICE TO HAVE skills

• Knowledge of languages such as Shell, Python or Go would be a plus
