As part of the SRE team, you’ll be an integral part of a platform team dedicated to providing product teams with all the essential tools they need to successfully deliver their projects.

Working closely with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), architects, and data architects, you’ll play a key role in supporting teams through their cloud migration journeys, encouraging the adoption of DevOps practices, and ensuring alignment with SRE principles and commitments.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be :

• Automating the deployment and maintenance of applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Developing innovative approaches to improve system efficiency and optimize resource usage and costs
• Guiding product teams in implementing best practices around security, high availability, scalability, and observability
• Actively contributing to the design of future projects within your product tribe
• Enriching the cloud component catalog available to development teams
• Staying up to date with new technologies and proactively suggesting relevant improvements
• Providing valuable support to development teams during complex problem-solving phases
• Implementing the gradual decommissioning of our on-premise infrastructure as cloud migration progresses

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Automate everything with Terraform, Packer, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Puppet
• Tinker with Linux, Windows Server, and make Nutanix your best friend for virtualization
• Push the limits of networking and security with HA Proxy, Cisco ACI, Fortinet, AWS Direct Connect, and Azure ExpressRoute
• Have fun with MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, SQLDB, RDS, Aurora, and Redis as you master the database game
• Rule the cloud with AWS and Azure in Serverless mode. Dive into containerization with AWS Fargate and Azure Container Apps
• Jump into the CI/CD world with GitHub, Jenkins, and Octopus for smooth and efficient software delivery
• Light your path with Datadog for complete observability
• Code in Python, .NET, Kotlin, TypeScript, Bash, and PowerShell for a unique tech journey

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This job is for you if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role focused on cloud and infrastructure as code, ideally with a developer background

• You have solid skills in automating processes using tools like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and others

• You have significant experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• You possess a strong DevOps culture and mindset

• You are proficient in both Windows and Linux environments

• You have good networking knowledge (experience with Citrix NetScaler load balancing is a plus)

• You have a working knowledge of databases, particularly MS SQL

• And finally, you are fluent in English

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Marine will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet Yoann, Head of Platform Engineering, followed by some members of the SRE team.

Finally, Marine will welcome you for a final HR interview, during which you will debrief your AssessFirst test together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
