We are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented Vendor Manager to join the FR THI Electrical and Smart Home Team.

This position can be based in any Amazon EU Retail locations : London, Manchester, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Munich, Berlin. The Category Leader is based in Paris.

You will define and drive long-term objectives and strategy for the business and will be responsible for managing comprehensive selection across multiple large brands, developing collaborative marketing and promotions, and driving sales and margin improvements.

Key job responsibilities

The Vendor Manager will manage strategic vendors to drive business towards the next phase of growth and will own all aspects of their category.

You will scrutinize data to identify key brands to target, initiate and grow long term relationships with brands’ senior management, resolve any operational, logistical or business issues, conduct negotiations on Amazon’s behalf and manage the respective category.

You should have experience in building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

You should have the communication skills to represent Amazon at all executive levels of these organizations.

You will have a deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers.

You stay on top of industry trends, and is able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection, sales, and margin growth, while also improving our customer experience and education.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.

Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.

Experience with Excel

Experience in account management, project / program management, or buying Experience using data to influence business decisions

Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration

Experience with business analysis and P&L management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

Must have Amazon International Stores EU experience

Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
