Duck Creek Technologies in Paris, France, is seeking a Senior Services Project Manager to lead client projects from planning through delivery, with accountability for schedules, budgets, scope, risks and change management.

You will partner with project teams, sponsors and senior stakeholders to keep complex engagements aligned and on track, while mentoring teams and delivering strategic technology initiatives in a hybrid, in‑person work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Eight+ years of professional experience, including five+ years leading IT/software delivery projects.
• Autonomy with accountability for delivery margin, forecasts, invoicing, and staffing decisions.
• Experience leading diverse project teams and coordinating internal/external resources.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to align stakeholders across departments.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Senior Services Project Manager, you will lead client projects and programmes from planning through successful delivery, with accountability for schedules, financials, scope, risks, and change management. You will partner with project teams, clients, sponsors, and senior stakeholders to keep complex engagements aligned, transparent, and on track. This is an opportunity to combine strong delivery leadership with client engagement while helping teams successfully execute strategic technology initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead client projects and programmes to successful, on‑time delivery, managing schedules, financials, scope, deliverables, and change requests.
• Develop estimates and detailed project plans across all phases of delivery, maintaining clear expectations and accountability across internal and external project teams.
• Identify, assess, and manage project and programme risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, taking action to protect delivery outcomes.
• Provide clear status reporting on milestones, deliverables, financial performance, testing, deployment activities, risks, and issues to project teams, sponsors, leadership, CIOs, and other key stakeholders.
• Partner across technology, operations, business, and client teams to understand interdependencies and coordinate effective delivery.
• Support the development and management of Statements of Work, engagement schedules, and contractual delivery commitments.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor project team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and effective stakeholder relationships.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or foreign equivalent, preferably in a field with an analytical emphasis.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience, including at least five years leading complex IT and/or software implementation projects and programmes, either for a software vendor or on the client side, with responsibility for delivery to schedule and within budget.
• High level of autonomy, with direct accountability for delivery margin, forecasts, invoicing, arbitration, escalations, client governance, and contribution to staffing decisions.
• Experience leading, motivating, and managing project teams of varying sizes, including internal and external resources, while maintaining accountability for performance and delivery, and comfortable being hands‑on when needed to unblock delivery, resolve issues, and support the team.
• Strong emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, building alignment and effective teams across departments and across technical and non‑technical stakeholders to unblock issues and keep project activities moving smoothly.
• Ability to identify, shape, and develop client service opportunities that respond to client needs and create value.
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken, are required.

PREFERRED

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance software or the insurance domain is preferred, and reinsurance experience is especially valued.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Workday.

SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

• Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities, with the flexibility to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
