We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. Project Manager – BESS to lead the execution of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System. The successful candidate will manage projects from development through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for BESS projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risk in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, grid operators, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, HSE standards, and company ESG policies.
• Oversee construction and site activities, including milestone tracking and problem resolution.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support procurement and contract management for key project components and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally including large-scale BESS projects.
• Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies, grid integration, and utility-scale project delivery.
• Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as needed.
• Fluent in English and French.
