A DAY IN THE LIFE :

As a Sr Manager Sales Operations International, you'll drive strategic and tactical planning to optimize sales resource allocation, maximize sales results, and improve profitability. You will be responsible for creating and implementing sales analysis, sales force alignment, and incentive compensation strategies for our business in EMEA. You'll develop innovative insights and analytics solutions to address key sales challenges and provide high-quality information to the International Commercial Leadership Team. Additionally, you'll prepare Tandem for future growth by ensuring our analytical solutions can scale and support evolving needs.

Working as a Sr Manager Sales Operations International, you'll:

  • Act as the project manager for in-market sales operations projects.
  • Develop and implement processes and controls to maximize sales resources and profitability.
  • Provide the Sales Leadership Team with data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other key stakeholders across the company to share insights and contribute to analytic efforts.
  • Oversee the creation, implementation, and support of annual incentive compensation plans for all Commercial roles within International.
  • Guide and support Management by Objectives (MbO) components of incentive plans as needed.
  • Drive process improvements in sales analytics and incentive compensation management.
  • Provide leadership coaching and feedback for the Business Analyst Manager and other team members.
  • Partner with external data suppliers to ensure data integrity and manage data inputs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement processes that enhance sales results.
  • Develop analytical tools for sales planning, targeting, and marketing campaigns.
  • Improve sales reports to track marketing effectiveness.
  • Analyze sales results with Finance to explain fluctuations against budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead field team requests for data/information related to HCP and payor.
  • Facilitate regular updates to the International leadership team.
  • Support short-term planning, including budgeting, training, and systems requirements.
  • Ensure staff training complies with policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to all levels.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Objective evaluation skills and strategic recommendation abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and territory mapping software.
  • Experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and CRM databases.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Strong process improvement and data analytics skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in a sales organization, preferably in medical devices, including experience with territory alignment, management reports, and leading teams.
  • Experience manipulating large data sets and presenting complex information.
  • Prior use of analytical tools for executive decision-making is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of leading a customer-facing department and staff is preferred.
