Airswift is currently looking for a Sr Logistics Engineer to work with our client, an Oil and Gas COMPANY.

Starting date: September 2025

• Duration: 12 months, renewable
• Location: Paris

Logistics Engineering Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed reconnaissance missions to assess existing logistics infrastructure and local constraints (administrative, technical, customs, meteorological, cultural, suppliers, etc.).
2. Perform logistics engineering throughout all project phases: define logistical philosophy, determine resources in coordination with logistics specialists (base, transportation of personnel and goods by land, sea, and air).
3. Provide cost estimates and schedules for project investment decisions.
4. Represent the department in Pre-Project monitoring and decision-making committees.
5. Support and monitor subsidiaries during start-up and operational phases.
6. Act as the technical logistics contact for subsidiaries.
7. Assist in field operations: ensure safe and efficient start-up of exploration subsidiaries, prepare tenders, manage crises, optimize resources and costs.
8. Monitor technological innovations, develop new logistics solutions, and promote existing solutions.
9. Develop and maintain the Logistics Reference System, including rules, specifications, and manuals.

Objectives and Deliverables:

• Produce logistics plans with costs and timelines for investment decisions.
• Develop logistics plans for existing subsidiaries to maintain profitability.
• Ensure compliance with the Logistics Reference Framework across divisions.

Travel Requirements: Missions to South America, Africa, Middle East, approximately 4 times per year.
