Job summary

Iotagroup in Paris is seeking a Lead QA/QC Manager for Subsea Production Systems projects. You will lead QA/QC activities, approve QP/ITPs, manage MRBs and coordinate inspectors to ensure offshore readiness and compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

The role requires 15+ years in QA/QC for Oil & Gas, 10+ years on major projects, and willingness to travel to Suriname. Residential status with a 2-year renewable term is offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in major engineering and construction projects.
• Significant experience in a similar QA/QC leadership role on offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of Subsea Production Systems (SPS), including subsea trees, manifolds and associated equipment.
• Proven experience in manufacturing quality surveillance, inspection and testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of FAT, EFAT, SIT, ITPs, NCR management, quality audits and manufacturing completion.
• Experience in offshore installation, commissioning and quality handover processes.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and project quality management systems.
• Familiarity with MRBs, certification dossiers and quality traceability requirements.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to undertake periodic business trips to Suriname.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all QA/QC activities across the project.
• Oversee quality surveillance and inspections at contractors' facilities.
• Coordinate FAT, EFAT, SIT and offshore readiness reviews.
• Review and approve Quality Plans, ITPs and inspection procedures.
• Monitor NCRs, concessions, deviations and punch lists.
• Ensure compliance with packaging, lifting, handling and transportation requirements.
• Provide quality support during offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning and testing.
• Coordinate SPS inspectors and third-party inspection agencies.
• Manage MoC-based changes and deviations.
• Ensure timely preparation of MRBs, certification dossiers and Lifetime Quality Records.
• Lead the quality handover process and acceptance by Operations.
• Monitor KPIs and escalate risks and issues.
• Coordinate quality audits and timely closure of findings.
