Welcoming you to the team

The Project Quality Team consists of 20 highly competent and diverse members. Our team enables the company to plan and execute projects with the right level of quality. The workplace is in Oslo or Halden, and you will report functionally to the Manager of the Project Quality Team and operationally to the Project Manager.

Getting a flying start

To succeed in the Project Quality Team, which is part of the Quality Department, you should have experience from marine and/or land-based industries. Ideally, you have worked in project-driven companies that manage quality aspects in projects, with experience in domestic or international settings. Your background can be from any engineering discipline or project/line management. Passion for quality is key, as training and guidance will be provided. You should be comfortable leading by ensuring quality in projects.

How you make an impact

You will work as a Project Quality Manager within a project team, facilitating all quality activities from tender to project close-out. Your primary objectives include structuring and managing quality assurance planning tools as required by the project, effectively cascading this through all project phases.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling and reporting non-conformances internally and against customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Establishing and following up on Inspection & Test Plans / Final Documentation, including structure for inspection and MRB activities
• Coordinating client audits and performing audits on suppliers/sub-contractors
• Ensuring project compliance through Stage Gate follow-up with management systems
• Supporting the project risk management process

Your starting point when you join

A university degree (MSc, MBA, BSc, or similar), preferably in engineering or QHSER disciplines. Relevant experience or a QHSER mindset can compensate for formal education.

Experience in marine and/or land-based industries is preferred but not mandatory.

You should be proactive and capable of demanding adherence to quality requirements.

Fluent in English, both written and oral; Norwegian is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
