Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Space Systems Procurement - Buyer for Studies and support to Commodity Management to join our Ground Systems, Navigation & IT procurement team.

You will manage tendering and contract negotiations with suppliers to meet customer requirements, while supporting colleagues across Commodity Management. English proficiency and experience in aerospace procurement are essential.

Job Description: Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Space Systems Procurement - Buyer for Studies and support to Commodity Management (m/f) to join our Ground Systems, Navigation & IT procurement based in Toulouse, France. You will be involved in the sourcing activity and manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External). The scope is relating to the procurement of advanced Studies for Space Systems project.

Your main challenge will be to manage the tendering and the contract negotiation with the various suppliers and in connection with the Customer requirements, including contractual flow downs).

In case of need, you will also be supporting your colleagues in the team (Commodity Manager, Supply Chain Quality Manager and Project Supply Manager).

Your profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech industry
• Negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
