Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Supplier Development Manager to join the Procurement & Supplier Management team in Toulouse. You will drive on-site supplier interventions, crisis management, and performance improvements to secure deliveries on time and enhance supply chain maturity.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, auditing suppliers, and delivering Lean/Six Sigma based improvements with up to 90% travel. Fluency in English and eligibility for security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven background in industrial crisis management, capacity auditing, and supplier performance recovery.
• Advanced mastery of continuous improvement methodologies and quality tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, process control).
• High degree of autonomy and strong leadership to influence executive stakeholders; frequent travel up to 90% on-site.
• Negotiation level in English required for international deployments.

• Diagnose organizational and procedural weaknesses to define and execute targeted quality and supply chain improvement plans.

• Lead strategic supplier transformation projects to mitigate quality risks and reinforce supply chain sustainability.

Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supplier Development Manager (f/m) to join our Procurement & Supplier Management department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing supply chain performance and industrial robustness. As part of the Supplier Development team, you will be involved in crisis interventions and performance improvement projects directly at supplier sites aiming at securing deliveries on time/on quality and upgrading supply chain maturity.
