The Exploration Company in Bordeaux, France, seeks a Project Security Officer to be the primary security interface for the Nyx project, coordinating between Mission Operations, central security, engineering teams, suppliers and partners. You will translate requirements into practical, verifiable controls across cyber, physical, and supply‑chain domains.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience across multiple technical domains (networks, OS, applications, embedded systems, data centers).
• Experience translating security requirements into system designs, tests, procedures, and evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the single point of contact for security topics on the Nyx project.
• Translate policies, regulations, and threat intel into project-specific security requirements and verification criteria.
• Maintain the integrated project security risk picture across cyber, physical, personnel, supply-chain, export-control, and security-architecture domains.
• Flow security requirements into systems, suppliers, and operations, and verify implementation with objective evidence.
• Work hands-on with engineers to implement secure configurations, access controls, segmentation, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, encryption, and other cybersecurity controls.
• Support threat modelling, risk assessments, security-by-design, system reviews, supplier assessments, and assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
