Job summary

The Exploration Company is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to act as the security focal point for the Nyx project in France. You will translate requirements into concrete security architectures and ensure compliant implementations across cyber, physical, and supply-chain domains.

You'll work hands-on with engineers to deploy secure configurations, access controls, monitoring, and encryption, while supporting threat modelling and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity engineering, systems security, or related hands-on field.
• Experience across multiple technical domains such as networks, operating systems, applications, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for security topics on the Nyx project.
• Translate policies and requirements into project-specific security controls.
• Maintain the integrated security risk picture across cyber, physical, and supply-chain domains.
• Flow security requirements into systems, suppliers, and operations with evidence.
• Work with engineers to implement secure configurations, access controls, and encryption.
• Support threat modelling, risk assessments, and assurance activities throughout the lifecycle.
