Job summary

Eutelsat Communications SA is seeking a Space Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain the cyber security framework for IRIS². You will work across spacecraft, networks and applications to ensure a robust security posture that protects sensitive information and assets.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, security partners and auditors, leveraging standards and risk management to guide secure system design and operations. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, information security or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect, space industry preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27005, NIST, ECSS, CCSDS frameworks.
• Familiarity with NIS2 and CRA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a comprehensive cyber security architecture framework.
• Review security documentation and ensure alignment with end-to-end system architecture.
• Collaborate with system engineering to match security requirements with architecture.
• Implement security requirements for systems, networks and applications, including spacecraft security.
• Contribute to risk and vulnerability assessments and evidence management.
• Provide guidance to project teams on secure system design and development.
• Educate teams on emerging cyber security threats and best practices.
