Qualifications

About the role:

The Bakery Sous Chef will be responsible for the preparation, creation, and execution of all desserts and baked goods, as well as assisting in overseeing the bakery kitchen’s overall operation, cleanliness, and organization.

What you will do:

  1. Supervise Chefs de Partie, Demi-Chefs de Partie, Commis, Trainees, and Apprentices
  2. Manage production and product storage
  3. Place orders and ensure merchandise follow-up
  4. Adapt merchandise order levels to activity levels and food cost targets

“The list of tasks specified above is not exhaustive, as your role will require constant adaptation to situations of high activity and specific customer relationship management.”

What we are looking for:

  1. Two to five years of previous experience in a pastry leadership position
  2. The ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
  3. You must possess the legal right to work in France at the time of application and have fluency in French
