A global logistics provider is seeking a Solutions Engineer to provide expertise in designing and optimizing logistics networks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience of 5+ years. Key tasks include data analysis, supply chain optimization, and contributing to sustainability initiatives. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required along with strong analytical and project management skills.
Availability to travel (preferably with a US visa), with a mix of home office and on-site work.
The Solutions Engineer's role is to provide expertise in designing and optimizing Geodis clients' logistics networks and supporting the development of new customers through 4PL/LLP solutions.
Main tasks:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or International Business.
3+ years of relevant experience, ideally 5+ years.
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (both written and oral).
Strong analytical skills, understanding data collection, statistics, and process relationships.
Experience in solution design and supply chain optimization (network or transport).
Familiarity with supply chain tools & IT systems (TMS, WMS, Order Management).
Experience in inventory optimization is highly desirable.
Project management skills, with experience managing projects as a project manager.
Qlik or Power BI development experience is a plus.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple activities.
