YOUR IMPACT
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant, you will drive presales activities that will aid in the technical win and adoption of our AppSec, SecOps, and DevSecOps solutions with prospective customers. You will primarily focus on OpenText's Fortify’s Application Security portfolio, DevOps Cloud for Application Delivery Management (ADM), and Security Operations Threat Detection and Response. With your strong technical expertise, you will help customers become resilient with their Cybersecurity posture through automation, cloud-native solutions, and integrated security practices.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
DevSecOps & Application Security Leadership:

• Lead technical discovery sessions with sales executives and proof of concepts (POCs) for OpenText DevOps Cloud and Fortify solutions
• Advise prospects on Threat Detection and Response (TDR) strategies, including Threat Intelligence, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and UEBA solutions
• Design and implement comprehensive DevSecOps programs leveraging OpenText's ADM portfolio
• Advise on best practices for integrating Fortify SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines
• Guide clients in implementing Fortify's application security testing solutions across their development lifecycle
• Demonstrate the value of integrated AppSec testing through OpenText's DevOps Cloud platform
• Drive adoption of security automation and orchestration using OpenText's toolchain integrations
• Showcase the benefits of cloud-native application security testing and DevSecOps workflows
• Guide customers in their journey from on-premises to cloud-native security testing
• Support vulnerability management programs through Fortify and complementary solutions

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 4+ years of experience as a Presales Engineer or equivalent experience focusing on customer-facing activities
• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or security operations
• Strong expertise in application security testing tools and methodologies
• CI/CD platforms and security automation
• Deep understanding of secure development practices and frameworks
• Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity attackers, threat response, security information and event management (SIEM), automation tools, and endpoint technologies
• Familiarity with OpenText DevOps Cloud for ADM
• Value stream management and AI-powered DevOps platforms
• Static & Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST & DAST)
• Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
• CI/CD Platforms: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
• Scripting Languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash
• Log management, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Vulnerability management workflows
• Security compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, SCRUM, ITIL etc.
• Occasional travel to client sites and the ability to work across time zones.
