Job Description-

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect with a strong background in IBM iSeries (AS400) and expertise in the leasing domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet business needs while leveraging iSeries technologies. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and efficient solutions on IBM iSeries that meet business requirements within the leasing domain.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to enhance system performance and functionality.
• Create architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation to guide development and implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.
• Conduct system integrations and ensure seamless data flow between various applications and platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, especially in leasing technology and iSeries advancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, specifically with IBM iSeries (AS400) systems.
• Strong understanding of the leasing domain, including processes, regulations, and software solutions.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools used on iSeries.
• Experience with database management, particularly DB2 on IBM i.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about system architecture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern application development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Knowledge of leasing software solutions and industry best practices.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or architectures.
