Job summary

Murex is hiring for a client services role in Paris to support the implementation and ongoing support of our platform in client environments.

You will engage in data, transactions, reports interfacing and middleware integration, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring successful upgrades and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science and/or market finance.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Solid technical background with distributed architectures, databases (SQL) and one or several programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional service for integration of the Murex system (data, transactions, reports interfacing) and middleware.
• Support clients in implementing Murex within their ecosystem and manage ongoing support.
• Manage client service calls in compliance with internal lifecycle and perform regression testing as needed.
• Participate in system version upgrades and run required regression tests.
• Deliver trainings to clients and develop understanding of ongoing activities and deliverables.

Team and context

The client services team is responsible for the smooth, timely and cost-effective implementation of our platform in the client’s environment. Following go-live, the team develops and implements an upgrade and support strategy.

Responsibilities

• In the context of implementation or support projects, provide technical and functional service linked to integration of the Murex system (data, transactions, reports interfacing) as well as technical expertise based on Murex and third-party software (middleware, JMS, databases, connectors).
• Support clients in implementing Murex within their ecosystem and participate in business-as-usual and project support (follow-up of client open cases via email, CRM portal, phone calls and on-site visits).
• Manage clients’ service calls in compliance with internal lifecycle including testing in case of functional changes initiated.
• Participate in system version upgrades, then perform upgrades and run the required regression testing.
• Animate trainings.
• Develop an understanding of ongoing activities and manage your own deliverables and progress.

Qualifications

• Master degree (Engineering school or university) in computer science and/or market finance with first experience
• English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Solid technical background with distributed architectures, databases (SQL) and one or several programming languages (scripting, object oriented)
• Interpersonal skills: ability to mobilise and convince
• Flexibility and ability to manage stressful and pressure situations (production phase, client priorities)
