Description du poste

Company information : Our client is a leader in the development and operation of renewable energy sources in Europe, with an increasingly prominent presence globally.

Position: Asset Manager

As Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of contractors and coordinating all asset management activities in the country to ensure expected asset performance, budget compliance, and risk management during operational life.

The Asset Manager will also undertake activities aimed at achieving operational readiness for asset adoption.

You will work closely with local stakeholders, as well as various international business functions, to ensure that all factors impacting the efficient operation of the company are understood, reported, and actively managed.

The role will ensure that all operations are managed in accordance with regulatory and contractual obligations and the company's standards and procedures.

You will collaborate closely with the broader Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery Asset Management team to:

  1. Prepare for receiving new assets into operation.
  2. Ensure smooth integration of new assets into the operational fleet, participating in gate reviews throughout the project lifecycle, especially during commissioning and handover.
  3. Ensure assets are managed in accordance with health and safety requirements, local regulations, and contractual obligations.
  4. Support the company in implementing asset management standards and procedures.
  5. Minimize operational risks, control costs, and optimize performance.
  6. Implement the annual business plan at the site level.

The role will be based in France and will primarily focus on managing the company's assets in France (wind farms, substations, other renewable projects), while also supporting asset management work in other countries of interest.

The role will require regular travel to the UK and occasionally to other countries in the portfolio.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed.
  2. Driving license.
  3. Fluency in both English and French.
  4. Good understanding of the renewable energy sector in France, including key markets and players.
  5. Considerable experience in asset management in the renewable energy industry (wind and/or solar) in France.
  6. Experience with onboarding and handover of new assets.
  7. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of contractual management, including navigating long-term service agreements and managing stakeholders (both internal and external).
  8. Experience in operational business strategy, planning, and budgeting.
  9. Commercial acumen, with a focus on business - the ability to identify what matters and clarify team efforts.

Salary: Between €65k and €70k salary.
