Dassault Systèmes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated PLM Solution Architect based in our Milan or Rome office.

As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and architecting technical solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, assess technical feasibility, and design scalable and reliable solutions leveraging 3DS Know How and technologies powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, meeting both customer business and technical needs.

Role and Responsibilities

Lead the solution definition phase, design end-to-end solution architectures from customer AS-IS to TO-BE, re-engineering current customer processes to favor OOTB adoption:

• Act as a key driver for the internal methodology (Value Engagement framework), derived from TOGAF
• Assess customer opportunities regarding feasibility, value, and risks
• Describe identified GAPs and link with service implementations using the same language
• Collaborate with Business Consultants to capture customer business processes
• Challenge customer business processes concerning value creation and business transformation
• Leverage collaboration between 3DS organization around a common view of the solution architecture for project success and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the alignment of the delivered solution with the committed project scope (SoW)
• Support smooth transition between pre-sales activities and service engagement
• Assist Consultants & System Integrators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• More than 5 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, Global Technical Consultant, or similar roles
• Experience in consulting on PLM projects
• Strong expertise in designing and architecting technical solutions, with a deep understanding of system architecture, cloud technologies, and software development methodologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and management skills, with strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
• Good knowledge of industry standards and business processes
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are advantageous
