Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Capital Implementation Consultant to own consulting services, translate functional specs, and support deployment at customer sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure the Capital application and participate in acceptance and testing to resolve technical challenges.

• 8+ years of enterprise Java development experience.

• Fluent in English.

Position Overview

Join our international team and become a key driver in helping industrial organizations transform through digital solutions! As a Capital Implementation Consultant, you'll take ownership of consulting services and technical specifications, primarily at our customers' locations, collaborating with cross-functional project teams. You'll configure the Capital application by translating functional specifications, identifying specific development needs, and participating in acceptance and testing phases to resolve technical challenges. Your expertise will be essential to the successful deployment of our Capital solution, as you advise clients and deliver training to new users. Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of consulting services and technical specification documentation, primarily at customer sites, working collaboratively with the entire project team
• Configure the Capital application by translating functional requirements, identifying specific development needs, and participating in acceptance and testing phases to address technical issues
• Be instrumental in successful solution deployment through your technical expertise, advising clients and delivering training for new users
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and transparent collaboration
• Support the team in identifying process improvements and sharing knowledge across projects
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of our implementation methodologies based on real-world project experience

Qualification

• University degree in software development / computer science or other software development related fields
• Significant professional experience (ideally 8+ years) in development of software applications with Java in enterprise environment. Web/mobile development would not be sufficient
• Experience designing and implementing extensible applications (e.g., plugin/module architectures), including building and packaging deployable artifacts (e.g., JARs, GIT) and managing dependencies/classpaths.
• Comfortable consuming third-party/vendor SDKs/APIs: reading JavaDoc, navigating object models, and using API documentation to discover types/attributes and correct usage patterns.
• Experience integrating Java components with external systems and data sources (e.g., REST/services, directory services, databases) as required by business workflows.
• Solid engineering fundamentals: unit testing, debugging, logging, and performance troubleshooting in production-like environments.
• Fluent in English

Nice to have

• Experience with security-focused integrations (authentication/authorization patterns).

Compensation & Benefits

The primary locations for this opportunity are France, Sweden, Netherlands, and Czech Republic. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:
Min 55,000 - Max 110,000 EUR (France)
Min 524,500 - Max 1,031,200 SEK (Sweden)
Min 62,800 - Max 119,500 EUR (Netherlands)
Min 948,000 - Max 1,798,4000 CZK (Czech Republic)

This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
