Comat seeks a Soldering Technician to join its electronics production team. The role focuses on precision soldering of electronic components and assemblies, under IPC standards, with attention to quality and documentation.

You will operate soldering irons, reflow tools, and microscopes, read technical drawings, and ensure traceability of work in MES/ERP systems. English communication is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electronics soldering (IPC standards are a plus: IPC-A-610, IPC JSTD-001).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Experience with SMD soldering is highly appreciated.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential, while French language skills are a plus

We are seeking a Soldering Technician to join our electronics production team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on skills in precision soldering, experience working with electronic components, and a commitment to producing high-quality assemblies:

Soldering Operations

Perform manual soldering on through-hole and surface-mount components following IPC standards.

Component Assembly

Assemble electronic boards and wiring harnesses according totechnical drawings and work instructions.

Quality Control

Inspect solder joints, identify defects, and ensure compliance withindustry quality requirements.

Equipment Handling

Operate soldering irons, reflow tools, microscopes, andmeasurement instruments safely and efficiently.

Documentation

Complete production reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.

• Perform manual soldering under binocular/microscope for SMD (CQFP, FP)and BGA components, following technical specifications and quality standards(ESA ECSS-Q-ST-70-08, IPC-A-610).
• Execute rework and repair procedures (PR) on PCBs as per the company’sdocumented processes.
• Apply conductive/non-conductive adhesives and conformal coatings with precision, adhering to safety and dosage protocols.

Compliance with Standards & Procedures

• Follow Manufacturing Process Instructions (PF), Repair Procedures (PR), andStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work under space-grade quality standards (ESA ECSS) and industry benchmarks (IPC, J-STD).
• Ensure full traceability of components and processes via digital systems (MES,ERP)

Required Skills:
