Comat seeks a Soldering Technician to join its electronics production team, specializing in spacecraft electrical harnesses. The role requires hands-on skills in precision soldering, harness assembly, and strict adherence to aerospace standards.

You'll interpret complex schematics, perform testing and inspections in a cleanroom, and ensure traceability from fabrication to integration within satellites. English proficiency is mandatory, with ECSS familiarity a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite/spacecraft electrical harness manufacturing and integration.
• Mandatory cleanroom experience.
• Strong knowledge of ESA, ECSS, IPC/WHMA-A-620 aerospace workmanship standards.
• Experience with crimping, soldering, shield termination, connector assembly, harness integration.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and harness drawings.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and traceability.
• Proficient with computer tools and digital manufacturing documentation (work instructions, technical drawings, ERP/MES systems, MS Office).
• English communication proficiency (written and spoken).
• ESA-certified or aerospace-certified crimping and harness assembly training.
• Familiarity with ECSS standards and space project quality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Manufacture, assemble, and inspect spacecraft electrical harnesses (wire prep, crimping, soldering, connectors).
• Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and quality inspections per aerospace standards.
• Integrate platform and payload harnesses within the spacecraft (routing, securing, connecting to subsystems).
• Ensure compliance with workmanship, quality, traceability, grounding, bonding, and safety requirements.

Description du poste

MissionManufacture, assemble, inspect, and integrate electrical harnesses for spacecraft platforms and payloads in compliance with aerospace and space industry standards. The technician shall be capable of working autonomously from engineering documentation and ensuring the highest levels of quality, reliability, and workmanship required for satellite applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and manufacturingdocumentation.
• Manufacture, assemble, and inspect spacecraft electrical harnesses, including wirepreparation, crimping, soldering, connector assembly, shielding, and harness dressing.
• Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and quality inspections in accordance withspace and aerospace standards.
• Integrate platform and payload harnesses within the spacecraft, including routing, securing,and connecting harnesses to onboard equipment and subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable workmanship, quality, traceability, grounding, bonding,and safety requirements throughout all manufacturing and integration activities.
