Our Client is looking for a Solar Project Manager with significant experience in the solar industry.
The solar power plants are mainly located in France, travel is expected from time to time in Europe, and working from our client office in Nantes.
Successful candidates will also be working on Energy Storage as well as Wind Farm projects. That said, around 90% of the time they will be working on Solar Projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the ongoing growth and expansion of the solar activities and capabilities within the company, actively managing the development of the Solar business within the company in France.
- Lead cross-department actions through construction to Advisory (support to Due Diligence) to Analytics (support to solar EYA).
- Act as a technical advisor for solar projects.
- Serve as Owner's engineer for large-scale solar projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies for multiple agrivoltaic projects.
- Perform technical due diligence for solar and wind projects.
- Provide permitting support to offshore wind projects.
- Conduct Solar Energy Yield Assessment.
- Support for technical audits (wind and photovoltaic projects).
- Manage Asset Management of solar power assets (daily management).
Job Requirements
- BAC+5 engineering school or equivalent or Technician Bac+2/3 with experience.
- Experience in Solar Power Plants essential.
- Experience in team management.
- Technical knowledge of how a Solar Power Plant operates is essential.
- Ability to communicate in French and English both written and orally.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- B license essential for travel on site.
- Good ability to discern and assimilate Quality and HSE/SSE standards.
Salary: From Competitive Salary, mainly dependent on experience in performing this position.
