Job summary

Silicon Ranch is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II for on-site work at multiple Georgia facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV systems, UPS, SCADA, and substations, diagnose electrical/mechanical issues, and document work in the CMMS.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and ability to work independently or with a team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical trade or related maintenance, with knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical trade or maintenance.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, inverters, substations.
• OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS preferred (or obtained after hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on PV systems, UPS, SCADA, substations, MV/HV/OHE.
• Perform corrective maintenance and respond to emergency dispatches.
• Log work in the CMMS system and document findings.
• Conduct electrical testing with meters and tracers as needed.
• Assist with field investigations for analytics and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate access for contractors and support land/module tasks.
