Job Description:

As a Senior Staff EDA Software Validation Engineer, you will be part of a validation team specializing in cutting-edge Electronic Design Automation. You will work on advanced SoC assembly and Hardware/Software interface flows, influencing development environment, architecture, verification, and more.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the functional specification of SoC integration automation products with the Product Owner.
• Qualify inputs and outputs (RTL, documentation) using CAD tools (simulators, formal proof, etc.).
• Set up test examples, reference files, and scripts (Python, Tcl, Java) for automated testing.
• Define test plans collaboratively with the Product Owner and QA teams.
• Conduct comprehensive test campaigns and automate tests for QA validation.
• Validate graphical interfaces and APIs used by customers.
• Maintain and improve tests within the continuous integration process, enhancing automation and metrics.
• Develop automation frameworks for new tests.
• Maintain internal libraries (Python modules, Java plugins).
• Improve processes, methodologies, and metrics.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor CAD flow development or SoC design/verification.
• Experience designing and building software frameworks for complex SoC verification.
• Knowledge of RTL design and verification languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemC, C++, Python, Tcl, SystemVerilog).
• Familiarity with XML IP-XACT standard.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Tcl/Python) and GIT.
• Strong communication skills in French and English (CEFR C2).
• Curious, autonomous, rigorous, and quality-focused.

Desired

• Experience as a QA engineer in software validation and API test automation.
• Knowledge of Eclipse RCP, Squish/Cucumber, TDD, BDD, Jenkins, Java, JUnit.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
