Qualifications

  • Niveau d'entrée en ingénierie logicielle avec une solide compréhension des méthodes formelles et techniques de compilateurs.
  • Connaissance des langages de programmation requis et bonne capacité de communication.
  • Reconnu pour être un bon joueur d'équipe avec d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles.

Description du poste

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Engineering for Avionics - Methods and Tools (m / f) to join our Avionics Software department based in Toulouse, France .

This department is an in-house supplier of avionics equipment and simulators. Engineers in this area are responsible for the design, development, production and support of critical on-board products (e.g. flight controls, flight alerting, communication, maintenance equipment) for all Airbus aircraft. This department is also a reference room for software and electronics, thanks to its accomplished and experienced teams. The scope of activities also extends to other Airbus divisions and partners in some cases.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible, within a software factory, for the development and maintenance of the avionics software production system for on-board and ground avionics products and components, in an environment with industrial and certification constraints (DO178, DAL A to D software, DO330).

This production environment consists of development processes based on a set of qualified common methods and tools for specifying, architecting, designing, coding, unit testing, integrating and verifying our software.

Tasks, main roles and responsibilities

In an environment with industrial and certification constraints (DO-330 for DO178), you will :

  • Study, develop, qualify, deploy and maintain the common methods, tools for the software factory
  • Ensure the related support activity including training to users
  • Perform or manage static analysis
  • Value the customer needs and challenge them to propose common and reusable solutions
  • Ensure the compliance of the developed tools with system, network, architect and security standards
  • Automate and optimize certain software development phases
  • Promote new solutions and technologies
  • Participate to the continuous improvement of the Department performance
  • Manage the subcontracted activities and deliverables, in conformity with the subcontracting management rules

You will report to a manager accountable for set of avionics software products inside an agile organization with dynamic role assignments.

  • Studies in computer science
  • Formal methods, compiler techniques, semantics of programming languages
  • Static analysis
  • Experience in software engineering and software standards
  • Knowledge of programming languages : C / C++, PYTHON
  • Knowledge of Systems : LINUX and Windows
  • Open-mindedness and good communication skills

Following skills would be additional assets :

  • Programming languages : JAVA, REST API, Ocaml, SQL, Flex / Bison
  • Real-time Embedded software development (DO178, DO330)
  • Modelling methods, languages and tools
  • Software architecture & Component based approach
  • Low level programming, computer architecture
  • Export Control, Software Intellectual Property

You are recognized for being a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

An advanced level of English and French is required.
