Questel is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineering Project Manager to drive IPMS implementations for clients, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while enabling post-implementation support.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, build detailed plans, and establish KPIs with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.

Fluency in English is essential; German is a strong asset. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sophia-Antipolis or Montpellier, France.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management for software/tech projects.
• Strong knowledge of PM methods, best practices and techniques.
• Experience with change management in large-scale transformations.
• Jira, Confluence and Asana familiarity preferred.
• IPMS or similar enterprise software implementations are a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a strong asset.

Reporting to theDirector of Solutions Engineering, this role is primarily responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Intellectual Property Management Systems (IPMS) for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proventrack recordof managing complex projects, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. This role is critical to ensuring thetimelyand successful deployment of IPMS, from project initiation through to post-implementation support.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of IPMS implementation projects, ensuring the delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.

• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Define projectobjectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establish andmaintainstrong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication of project status, potential risks, and necessary adjustments.

• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction through consistent updates and proactive issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including integration services, software developers, businessanalysts, andintellectual property specialists, to ensure project goals are met.
• Identifypotential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption of the IPMS.

• Oversee the transition to support and post-implementation care, ensuring a smooth handover to client teams for ongoing use and optimization.

• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.

• Ensureall project documentation is complete,accurate, and organized for future reference.

The role demands a combination of technicalproficiencyand strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members:

• 10+ yearsofexperience in Project Management, with proven experience managing end-to-end implementations in a software or technology environment.
• Excellent understanding of PM methods, bestpracticesand techniques

• Experience with change management processes, especially in large-scale organizational transformations.

• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Asana preferred

• Experience managing Intellectual Property Management Software or similar enterprise software implementations would be a plus
• PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar project management certificationspreferred

• Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact diplomatically with all levels of law firm and corporate personnel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical,troubleshootingandproblem-solvingskills
• Understanding ofsoftware architecture and technical infrastructure.

• Ability toidentifyproblems early, analyze them, and implement effective solutions.

• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and make decisions under pressure.

• Strong client service orientation, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.

• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in a second European language (ideally German) would be a strong asset.
